Just a follow up video to show the repair. The check engine light was on in my 1995 Lincoln Town Car; through help from lincolnsonline.com postings I was able to correct the problem. The final part of the video shows a code reader I purchased from Advance Auto for around $67.00 now on sale for 50% off. The model is an Actron CP 9175. It is my understanding these code readers are for cars 1996 and newer, my Lincoln is a 1995 but it has the plug for this device.

| Review by Lee (DURHAM, NC) 2010-05-26 The first thing one notices as they open the box is how sturdy feeling this scanner is. I know that you can only go to an auto parts store, but my car was out of control and did not want the risk. This lets me know that my O2 sensors were working and are now ready to pass the inspection. It gives you a heads-up before taking the hacker / mechanic.
DVD players are being phased out slowly, but that doesn’t mean a few people don’t still get plenty of enjoyment from them. Luckily, as a result of Blu Ray alternatives, they are coming down in price, so you won’t have to spend an arm and a leg for them anymore. Do you remember the days when only the rich seemed to have DVD players? Those were interesting times, that’s for sure. But now that the days of ‘Be Kind, Rewind’ are long behind us, there are a few things that we need to look for when buying a DVD player.
